I've got an Oceanic 75 system I bought used. The tank has an in-tank
overflow, which is really loud. Not in a pleasent cascading water sort of way, but in a never-ending flushing toilet sort of way. The sump is pretty quiet, but the process of water falling into the tube is the problem. I thought about putting an elbow of the intake so the water would be more of a 'slide' in, rather than a straight fall into the tank. I don't know if this would help. Anyone have good tips on silencing the overflow? Paul Vincent Craven http://www.cravenfamily.com |
