Default Snowflake eels questions

I have a Powder Blue Tang (5"), Naso Lipstick Tang (5"), Regal Tang
(3"-4"), Yellow Tang (2"-3"), 4 x Green Chromis (1 1/2"-2"), Blue
Cheek Goby (4"), Chalk or Six Spot Goby (4"), Common clowns (1@ 1 1/2"
and 1@ 2") and a cleaner wrasse.
All these fish are kept in a rena 600 125 imp gallon tank.
I have a couple of corals (goniopora stoksii and a pusey coral) as
well as some green start xenia and yellow polyps. The clowns are
nicely at home in a 10" heteractis crispa. There is also a tube
worm/feather duster approx 6" lonbg with a crown about 3" across.

I want to know the realistic size that a snowflake eel would grow to
if placed in my tank, and whether he would be a threat to my fish. I
guess the chromis could be at risk, and to be honest they could go
back to the shop they came from.

any advice and/or experiences mixing this eels with any of these fish
welcome.

Thanx

Default Snowflake eels questions

Ok, so here it is.

No snowflake for my tank. I checked several references which said they
will only eats fish they can get in their mouths. This probably means
my smaller shoaling fish. The Compatibility charts also said no
chromis or clowns. I have a couple of cleaner shrimp too, and
snowflakes will eats crustasions, and that includes expensive
ornamental shrimps!

I may still get one in a smallis tank on its own, but to be honest, I
think its a bit much to setup a tank just for one eel! We'll have to
wait and see if the bug REALLY gets me I guess!
