Default MONSTER TANKS

I am looking for help designing a MONSTER display aquarium. Octagon shaped,
Approximately 8 feet in diameter and 8 feet deep. 5 feet above ground and 3
feet below.

I am planning on building this tank 14 months from now so I need to get
planning ASAP.

Thanks for your assistance in advance.

This man's site should give you some good ideas about designing a
large tank. It's not as large as the one you're considering, but many
of the techniques he used may be helpful for you.

Thanks, I appreciate the link, I didn't think 1" acrylic would stand the
pressure, but it's only 30" high. Even BIGGER, like you would see at a Bass
Pro Shop, well not quite that large, but BIGGER!
