how many yellow tangs can i put in a 6foot tank ??

how many yellow tangs can i put in a 6foot tank ??

uno
less than 2

got it???

so they will be happy

it takes a BIG tank to school tangs, and if you have too few but more than 1 instead of
schooling they fight.
I did see a guy schooling 6 in a 480FO though to add to the thread

i did understand the one bit .i was just checking if i could get away with 3
but looks like that will be a no then.

well technically you didnt say what was 6' just that its a 6' tank, really thats not
enough information if its 480 gallons then you might be able to have a school of yellow
tangs, but 3 wont work its not enough and one will become domanant and you will have 1. or
2 beaten scared tangs

plus i was just giving a hard time about the 1, one, .....

Also remember they can get like the size of a dinner plate!! that's a
pretty big fish. a 6 foot long ((standard tank)) is what, 125 or 150
gallons? thats just about big enough for 1 I would think.
