Default Comparison of Salifert and Seachem calcium test kits

For those of you wondering about the differences between the Salifert
and Seachem "reef status" kits, here are some results:

I did the Salifert test using the 'low resolution' procedure, using a
1.5ml sample. The tests were done at various times over a few months,
but the Salifert and Seachem test were always done at the same time
from the same sample. Distilled water was used for the sample
dilution in the Seachem test (as indicated). Directions were followed
as closely as possible for both test kits.

Salifert Seachem (ppm)
380 425
420 425
370 410
385 400
360 375
370 390
370 375
350 375
360 400

Avg: 374 397

Both kits are very easy to use, and appear to have the same exact
purple dye that changes to blue when the titration is done. The
seachem kits contains enough reagent for MANY tests (over 150). The
Salifert does about 75 with the low resolution procedure.

Good luck everybody!
