Default Reason #367 For Having a Pond; Pond Pumps are Multi-Purpose

The SO and I purchased a new fancy-schmancy bed tonight. We were draining
the old water bed, when we realized the siphon leaks. We found this the hard
way, downstairs of course. So as I mopped up the water, I began to wonder if
my 100gph "keep a hole in the ice" pump could accept a hose on the inlet. It
does!!! The bed is almost empty!

I'll have to remember this. Normally we use a pump that one connects to a
drill, neither efficient or quiet. ~ jan

Just FYI...the pump could not suck the matress totally dry. We ended up
running a hose out the window and using the leaking siphon out there to get
ALL of the water out.

We used the Bissell steam cleaner nozzle to suck it dry. Bet a shop vac
would work too. ~ jan
