It turned out my bulb was burnt out. My next question is since the tank has
been without the MH for 6 days while I got the replacement and I am also going from a 6,500 to a 10K do I need to drop back my time period and build it back up again? It previously was on for 8 1/2 hours. Also have other NO lighting on for 14 hours. (actinic) David Young |

Just fire up the MH and keep an eye on the corals for the day. If they begin to look stressed, note the length of time the MH have been running, and kill the MH. Tomorrow, fire up the MH at the normal time, and run them for the length of time you noted before, and add 15-30 minutes per day til you reach full length day. They won't need anything near a "new coral" acclimation. Kev |
