Default crocea care

Anyone got tips about removing boring snails from a crocea clam? The
clam is already adhered to a large hunk of LR, so I can't take him
out of the tank, I've tried impaling the snail with a dentists' hook,
but he retracts far enough in that I can't get him. Perhaps use a bit
of LR epoxy to seal the hole?
