Well, "it" finally happened. One of my pumps died. It was Little Giant
(now a big piece of junk). I am going to replace it with an external pump. Any suggestions? I am leaning toward a "Power Plus Pump". Seems to have great head and flow rate and small amp draw. This will be a new experience for me. Any suggestions you may have are greatly appreciated!! Thanks! W. Dale |

Performance pro pumps by Horizon re good, and are cloes to Sequence
pumps of the 750 and 1000 series and cost considerably less. Not that Sequenxe 750 and 1000 series pumps are expensive but Performance pro parts will also interchange. Sequence is another good brand with a great reputation, and they also have a value line of pumps which consume a bit more power but have good performance. Sequenxe 750 and 1000 series are pretty miserly with power consumption. Wlim also is a super great pump, and probably one if not the cadilac of external pond pumps. William Lim is a great person to deal with and he stands by his products 110% They have the Wave, WAVE II and Dragonb series which have some terrifics psecs on performance and energy consumption. I had a sequence 750 that lived outside for 3 years and was submerged a few
times. Finally quit this year. I replumbed moved the pump up higher to keep the water out of it. I am also putting a shelter over the top to keep it out of the weather.
