Default Pink & Purple calcerous algae

How do I keep it alive, new to sal****er, live rock with lots of it and
it seems to be turning white, is this a lack of calcium ?

Could be.

Could also be Magnesium (it interacts with Calcium take up)

Possibly Iodine or Stontium too

Maybe light - either too little or a shock change

Don't worry it will come back if you've got conditions OK

Mine did the same when I cut down on the amount of light. Keep the
lights on a timer for a min of 8-10hrs.

I bought some product called "Purple Up" works xlnt for coraline
growth. after using it I didnt see any changes untill about 4-6. But
once it started to go to work my coraline growth increased 25-30%.

Great stuff.

am go to buy a second bottle. I wish I would have taken a before and
after picture. A must have product for me.

Another product that does well is Coral Vital from Marc Weiss.

I have used two bottles of it and seen great results, I am now trying the
purpleup as well.
