I am currently using an internal filter for my 55 gallon planted tank. Currently, I am using an internal filter for its quietness. However, the internal filter practically does nothing to cleaning the tank water other than move it around. Now, I want to get a new external canister filter.
I am planning to get this filter: Eheim Ecco Comfort Canister Filter- 2234 My first concern... Do these filters make a lot of noise? If so, are there any better alternatives as to canister filters that make very little noise? My second concern... Is this an effective filter, a filter you would recommend me to get? I currently have 1 pair of angelfish, 6 bleeding heart tetras, 9 ottos, and 10 japonica shrimps in this tank. thanks!! |
