Default Filter full of eggs!

We had a prolonged power failure last night, so I was up cleaning the
cansiter filters after the power was restored. To my surprise, both filters
on the 75G Goldfish tank were full of eggs. These were small white jellied
bumps about the size of half a BB. Could these be GF eggs or some sort of
Snail? The Snail eggs I've seen previously were much smaller and dark.
