MH Lighting height question
I just got a Sun Supply Maristar fixture and installed it over my 120g reef
tank. This fixture has 2X250w MH and 2X45w PC. How high should it be above my tank? I started at about 15" but have raised it to almost 2' above the water surface at this time. I did this mostly to control the heat issues it created being lower. I have since ordered a chiller so this wont be as much of an issue soon but I wondered what the best height to shoot for was? TIA G.
