Default Remora C or Cpr Bakpak

Can anybody, tell me which, is the quiter skimmer between the two. And which
one performs the best in terms of skimming, I am debating which one to get
for my 40g. Thanks Rebecca

The remora is a better skimmer as for quiter, I don't know it has been
to long since I had them both setup side by side.

The Remora is the quieter one, if you get it with the black O-ring
around the collection cup. And it will produce better skimmate.

I concur..... and like Marc said get the O-Ring, plus the overflow box.
I used to fall asleep 2 feet on the sofa from mine....

I cut small groves about every 1/2 " up the side of the collection cup on
all 4 sides with a dremel tool grinding stone about the diameter of the
O-ring so that the collection cup doesn't slide down over time. works well
if the Remora people are listening

Another trick is to split some silicone airline length wise
put it around the square cup base to make a "piston ring"
or seal if you will and glue the ends where they meet.
and this seals the water side from the non water side.

On my Remora Pro, the Mag3 Pump with the skimmer box
(further quiets) and the Cup O-Ring I'd dare say it was a pleasant
whoosing sound, rather relaxing to sleep next to. :-)
