For those interested....

I spent about $50 this weekend trying to drill and pipe two 10 gallon
tanks. That is, hands-down the worst idea I've had in the last six
months. What a stinking disaster Man!

I'll not try that again, EVER! on a glass tank. I don't know if I'll
run a siphon or a couple sponge filters instead of a canister.

There's a fish store where I live that drills tanks for a small fee. I
think it's $7 or $8. Perhaps you could find something similar where you
live.

I've found it's really necessary to do lots of practice on pieces of
scrap plate glass prior to doing any kind of polishing, cutting,
grinding, or drilling on the real thing.
