Hi all, I'm in the middle of cycling my SW tank (pure ammonia and bacteria
culture method) Ammonia has spiked and fallen to 0, Nitrite has risen and is peaking at the moment. I wasn't going to have live rock in the tank but after seeing some of the photo's on various forums on the net I now feel the need!!!!! My question is: Can the LR be put into the tank right away (to help with the cycle process) or will the nitrite damage the rock dwellers? Thanks Terry ---------------- 180ltr Tank 300w Heater External Filter 'Old school' wooden airstone Skimmer 3xPowerheads @ 3400lph flow 0 Fish ![]() |
