![]() I have built a custom hood for a planted 40g and I want to install some of the AH Supply kits, but I'm uncertain which would be the best for my tank. The tank is 36" x 18", so should I use the 2x55W kit which is 24" x 8" (actually 2 of 24" X 8") or the 96W lit which is 35" x 4"? The question for anyone that has one of these kits, is how much spill is there off the ends? If I use the shorter 55w kits I can easily cover the whole tank front to back, but will have about 5" on each end uncovered. I think if I get the 96W it would be too narrow, but it would cover the whole length of the tank. Does it matter one way or the other? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. * * Ben *-- Using M2, Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/ |
