I'm a newbie setting up a 55 gal. So far, I've been practicing on a
small two gallon, I figure it is easier to learn by starting out small. I'm about ready to start thinking about the large tank now. One problem I have on the small tank and haven't been able to solve well is the painted gravel leaving paint chips in the tank. These chips float in the water, some of them clinging to the side of the acrylic tank. Is there any good ways of getting rid of the chips, and minimizing them in the first place? Is this a common problem with painted gravel? I'm using Estes green color. |
