I am not convinced that the filter is the problem yet but not sure how to troubleshoot the problem. ================== Take the sprinkle or spray head off the pump and let it run. See if it still slows down. Are you cleaning the slime from the spray-head? Could that be getting clogged from what passes through the filterpad? Have you checked for excessive slime in the impeller well? Pull the impeller out and clean it and the well. If it doesn't have a free impeller gently grasp the fins and pull gently up a little on them. The impeller may have worked it's way "down" and is binding. I have one pump that does that a few times over the summer. -- Koi-Lo.... frugal ponding since 1995...
