Default Sump plans as of now

Here's the plan as it currently stands:

I'm hoping that gravity will prove sufficient to move the water through the
filter. Any thoughts on this or recommendations for media? How should I
select a pump? The main tank will be a 55 gallon and the pump will have to
move the water a distance of about 4 feet up.
