well, this is my page, decided to gather information. This puts it into a
semi clear picture and allows me to keep logs for my tank. hope you all
enjoy.

its actually a link to my site, you have to go to the reef section.

Hi wolfhedd,

I looked over your reef page and noticed you are battling GHA for some time now.

You must replace your bulbs with new ones to shift the spectrum back where it is
currently. Scrubbing rock really isn't the solution. Please try these steps:

I noticed the link to the RO/DI units I sell. Did you get one from me, or are
you still using tap water?

no, its the link you sent me a while back, i put it on mysite hoping you
wouldnt mind, let me know. i turned off the back two bulbs last week, after
the litesout. going to try this without them, xcellent advice, wish i would
have gotten it sooner, but glad you said it. so far xcelent results as the
cyano is not a dark thick anymore each day of regrowth, now its more like
stable. and the gha, well we will see, most all is off rocks, some piles
still left on floor from scrubdown and one small rock or 3 that i missed.
have a refugium now too!! hope that helps. i will change the bulbs, but i
think i would like to get two pure actinics, and alternate them of the 4,
other two being a 10k and a 50/50. sound ok? and wait till the hair algae
dies down some right? also, stony polyps are still doing good, about a
1inch patch, but yellow polyps 90% of took the fall it seems from this.
appreciate all the feedback i can get thaks again. wolf

p.s. the rodi, i do not have one, thinking of getting one, and thought i
would spread the word. .

No problem linking it. I couldn't find you in my database and that is why I
asked.

Pick up any bits of GHA or siphon it out with airline tubing to get it OUT of
your tank! That stuff will spread and reconnect elsewhere if it is in there.

But the pics you have of the dogs are wonderful and makes the site very
