My Powder Blue is growing nicely but will only eat Nori.
I've tried every type of frozen food I can think of - it might pick at some occasionally but with no enthusiasm (even the types with algae in) It picks at dried algae (Julian Sprungs mixed flakes), again not enough to sustain body weight. It completely ignores live brine shrimp. This is a problem because I'm going on holiday soon and whilst I've trained a neighbour to come round once a day and put in a cube from a blister pack it's a bit much to ask him to pot some Nori on a lettuce grip. Anyone got any ideas what to try next? Mark |

How long have you had the tang? If new it might still be getting used to
your tank. If older than I'd say it must be getting algae elsewhere. Does it look skinny? My yellow is the same way he hides when I feed the rest of the tank & he's a fat pig. So, I'm not going to worry about him. If you are going away for a few days you can safely skip the feeding. I only feed the tank 4x a week (not including nori that they get every other day). If you are worried about asking your friend to deal with nori you might also try to batch a few days worth of nori on a few different clips so all your friend has to do is stick the suction cup to the glass.
