Hi,
I purchased a Regent Aqua-Tech-5 from Wal-Mart (similar to Eclipse System 6) a few days ago. The impeller housing does not fit into the pump/filter assembly. The width is correct, but the length is about 1/4" too long. The impeller housing looks slightly different than the drawing in the owner's manual. The part that came with the kit has radiating ribs around the outer part of the semi-circular end (drawing has none), and the bundled part lacks horizontal stubs on the sides to mate with the horizontal notches on the pump/filter assembly. I called Aquaria this morning, but the customer service queue had 18 people ahead of me with estimated wait of 72 minutes. So I sent e-mail to customer service. Has anyone else encountered this type of mismatching parts? How responsive is the customer service? I'm thinking of just taking the kit back to Wal-Mart for a refund. Regards, Kevin |
