Question: how to lower temperature

Close to the already mentioned bottle is take out some water from the
tank, put it in an ice cube tray, after an hour or so, sprinkle some
food in it.

When it's frozen, you can put one or two in the tank. Being tank
water,
it's less likely to drasticlly change any of the water conditions plus
the fish seem to like attempting to get the food in it.

LOL, the food in the cubes idea is cute. How applicable this is, depends
on the tank size. Ice cubes would have only a negligable effect on a
50+g tank. Not already mentioned, leave lights off, leave cover open
during the day (Angelfish are not jumpers, and are quite tolerant of
several days of high temperatures too). You can always google the
newsgroup archives (this is an annual question). There you will find an
esoteric collection of ideas, from electric coolers (they exist for
aquaria), to DIY recirculators using SS piping into a cheap refrigerator.

Ya know I think a fish-food-cycle a day would be a great idea for
stimulating the fish. And I would get a good laugh too!!!
