Default stocking ideas for a 29g?

my new 29g is finally cycled and i started stocking it last week. i
moved the blue gourami (i changed my mind- i think he's a she, from
looking at more pictures online). i also have 5 zebra danios. (a
little too much too quick as it caused me to get a low amonia reading,
but one 30% water change fixed it and it's been 0 since)

i want kuhli loaches, at least 4 of them.

but that's still going to leave me with a fairly sparsely populated
tank.

any ideas for something interesting to put in there?
