Default Cleaning silk plants

I have about 40 artificial silk plants. I want to remove them all and use dish cleaning soap and water to clean them, rinsing thoroughly. I know this works with regular plastic plants.

Could I use a little bleach to make the cleaning easier?
Can you clean silk plants this way?

Thanks, Bob
