Default H.O.T. Magnum - Filter Material

I actually got some filter fiber (blue bonded whatever..) and stuffed it
inside the carbon cartridge, wrapped it with the HOT Magnum sleeve, and have
it running. I just didn't feel that the HOT Magnum sleeve by itself was
enough of a particle filteration.

Neat! .. never thought of using it in the HOT Magnum!
Did you buy & use an 'aquarium product' filter fiber?

I've bought poly 'batting' material from a fabric store,
at less than a dollar a yard. Use it in my other
filters.

Bob
