Chlorine will evaporate/disipate into the air if water is left uncovered.
May take a long time from a milk jug. If the water has chloramine, it won't disipate into the air. Suggest using a commercial de-chlorine drops. -- Bob Alston http://members.cox.net/tulsaalstons/ "Bruce Chapman" wrote in message et... I keep water for my tank in gallon milk jugs. Any idea how long it takes for the chlorine to disipate? Thanks. |
