Default Zebra snail- Neritina natalensis

I have had 6 of these wonderful zebra snails for the last year but they have
not reproduced. I have done some research and found they can live in fresh,
brackish, and salt water so I am thinking they may not be laying eggs
because I keep them in a freshwater tank. Any body have experience with
these snails and their eggs?
Thanks
Andre
