i really don't know what it is it's the first time i see such a thing

Can you give us some more details about your tank such as:

How big is it?
How many fish do you have in it and what kinds are they?
Have you tested your water recently?
What were the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels?
What is the pH of your water?
When did you last change any of the water in your tank? How much did
you change and did you use dechlorinators?
How long have you had the fish?

You'll get plenty of help, but more info would give the folks here
something with which to work.
Cheers!
Vicky

about 20 , goes from meeky , platy ,black widow, neon
pleco, botia ,kuli , coridoras etc...

Have you tested your water recently?

no it's a shame!

What were the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels?

dunno yet have to test it again , last time it was around 7

When did you last change any of the water in your tank? How much did

last month 10%

you change and did you use dechlorinators?

nope

How long have you had the fish?

more than one year and i had a few fishes that died in 1 year,
about 5 but i couldn't see any signs of sickness.

i just had a little problem with a certain type of fish

it's called the scalaire in french , dunno its english name
take a look at that picture to figure out what fish it is

http://perso.club-internet.fr/burnel..._blancnoir.JPG

i have never been able to keep alive any "scalaire"
i bought about 10 of them in 1 year, 2 years ago.
They all died ! but all the other fishes were ok.

Voila , i'm sorry that i can't give you more informations about the water itself.
Kind regards and thank you for your help

It's the French word for Angelfish. It's a very pretty one!
