Default Looking for Those Travelling Live Rock People....

Hey, every once in a while there are these people who post on here who make
their way through the US from Florida selling live rock that they pulled
from the ocean.

Has anyone ever used them?

Anyone know how to reach them?

TIA

~Mort

Hello Mort, saw this post.
I guess you mean our company, TerraSubAqua.
There should be some references if you try a Google search, and we have a
web site at www.terrasubaqua.com.
We have just returned from a harvesting trip at our Florida operation, and
have several hundred pounds still available. Our biggest problem is
logistics, we have to meet up because we can't ship the product, it
has never been out of the seawater it grows in.
Let me know if you are interested in more info. We always sell out don't
expect to do any more harvesting until March 03.
You may inspect the goods before you buy, we just don't want to
handle it much to protect the biodiversity (plus urchins hurt). Our
customers
report new critters hatching out for several months following installation

Hi TIm, someone did point me in the direction of your Web Site and I did
send an email... I haven't received a response yet.

My question was if you guys ever make it out to Chicago.

Thanks

And maybe a stop in Westville, Illinois on the way... :-)

We really appreciate the interest, and the answer is yes, we do come to
Chicago, I was at the last IMAC show, we had a booth and did a presentation
as well, back in March.
The thing is, I normally sell out before I even get back to Ohio, so it's
tough for me to justify the trip out there as much as I like the town
(Shedd's Aquarium and Gino's Pizza, both unbeatable).
I'm sitting on a couple of buckets right now for a Chicago native who will
be visiting me a week from Saturday. I wonder if I could talk them into
delivering to you? My only problem is I like to give you the right of
refusal upon delivery, another thing that makes us unique.
We sell only in 50 pound lots, let me know what you might need and send me
an email with your contact info, I will try to work things out somehow.
Sorry I lost your email due to a glitch with my laptop when I was in FL,
Mort.
