Cleetus: I just bought a Kent Float switch, not cheap but shoud do the job.
"Cleetus Awreetus" wrote in message news:GUHOf.4559$eP4.1710@trnddc05... I currently use a AP tapwater filter to create my topoff water. I was running some water through it this morning into my auto-topoff resevoir and wouldn't you know I walked away and forgot about it. I've often worried that I'd do this and it's amazing I hadn't done it sooner. I had a good bit of water on the floor of my basement to clean up. Could have been a lot worse had I not caught it sooner. Trying to think of a way to put a float switch in my topoff resevoir to keep this from happening again. Is there any way to hook up a float switch to some sort of valve that controlled opening the faucet/input to the tapwater filter? Do ro/di systems support any sort of hookup like that more easily ? Planning on buying a ro/di system soon anyway. Any advice appreciated. Thanks. Steve |
