I plan on using something like this
http://www.countymaterials.com/f_pro...all_block.html I am going to make two walls back to back and put the liner between them. "Mike C" wrote in message oups.com... I am thinking of redoing my yard and going from an in-ground pond to something that is part in ground and part raised. I would build it out of cement block and then face it with some sort of stone. I am wondering how the liner can be attached to the sides. Since it is going to have to be hidden by top stone, I assuming that I won't be able to ever fill the pond to the very top since the liner will stop at the second to last row of stone. I am thinking the cement block will be capped off with a 2" thick cobblestone type block. I am also wondering about what I need to keep the out of the ground part stable given the pressure of the water pushing on it. I have a very small yard and the raised pond will increase its visibility from the house and the ledge will double as seating for viewing the pond. |
