This is such an
emotionally charged issue that it's easy for a person's
judgment to be clouded by feelings and by misunderstandings
about the facts.

The facts are that many people were encouraged to remain silent about sexual
abuse so as not to besmirch your so-called Jehovah's only book publishing
house/real estate buying Org's reputation. For some reason the JWs want
everyone to think they are somehow better, holier, purer than those of other
religions. Any rational thinking person can clearly see they are not.

I have a slight amount of sympathy
towards those who are mislead by alarmist, anti-JW
propoganda that seeks to exploit emotion and
unfamiliarity with the facts of law and of JW policy.

What is the JW *policy* these days? Are JWs now encouraged to go straight
to the police when raped or abused by another JW? Certainly they're not
following scripture and stoning their members to death, or forcing the
rapist to marry the woman or child.

[In case I need to state the obvious, I also have
sympathy for victims; but again, I have no sympathy
for those who hijack the story of a victim for
anti-JW propogandistic purposes.]

Why do you keep saying anti-JW propaganda when the WTS/GB are the problem
and not the unfortunate tricked and beguiled JWs themselves?

Because in your case, the watchtower is a problem to all facets of
life. And you have yet to explain how the WTS/GB was responsible for
your two failed marraiges.
