Default Don't buy JBJ Nano Cubes!!!!

Ok, after I read all of the bad post on these I should have known better!!
We purchased a Nano Cube Deluxe 12 gallon in Nov. 2004. I didn't have the
time when I got it to set it all up and wasn't ready. I did however open
the box soon after getting it to make sure it wasn't cracked as I have read
all the bad post. The inside of the box literally had BLOOD (not paint) all
splatered in the inside!! I sent it back to the company I purchased it from
who sent me another. I opened that box and it seemed all ok. Well I
finally needed the tank set up last week for some corals and seahorses. I
put the water and live sand in and had to run outside for a few minutes.
After coming back in the tank had leaked all over my floor. After cleaning
the tank out I discovered it looked to be leaking at the back seam. There
wasn't a crack. I called JBJ and after a week with numeruous phone calls to
them and trying to work with them only found out they will not do anything
to make this right except SELL me another tank at what they call a
discounted price. Now I've lost over several hundered dollars between the
tank and stand and not to mention I had a horrible mess to clean up after
the second tank. I don't want another JBJ nano nightmare. Sorry so long
but wanted other people to know since this a reef newsgroup not to purchase
one of these!! They are without a doubt "pieces of junk"!! Just not a good
company to deal with at all.

Yep that's what happens when manufactures cut corners to
meet the customers demands of being the lowest price.

Seem like this same exact post was made approximately a year ago as
well..........I just do not buy the blood part. I am not saying you
may not have had a cracked tank, but just don't assume for one minte
that the Aqua pods are infallible because they certainly have their
problems as well...........from improper wiring and
cracks.............to god only knows what else.

I know I have read some bad things about the aqua pods to. I just have my
fingers crossed. I'm very sure it was blood splatter in the original nano
cube box. Being a nurse for over 20 years gosh knows I've seen lots of
blood. Not sure what happened. Obviously quality control doesn't exsist
anymore
