Hi All,
Just set up a new Eheim 2217 on my 55 gallon tank and I'm wondering how to connect the Eheim prefilter I purchased separately. The "upside down J" intake tube that comes with the filter does not reach to the bottom of the tank when connected to the pre-filter. The pre-filter, OTOH, comes with two tubes, one straight about 10" long, another narrower with a curve at the end, which is too small for the wide intake tubing of the 2217. So there is no clearly obvious way that I see to connect the prefilter using existing plumbing parts. Before I go cutting into things I thought I'd ask here how the prefilter is supposed to connect. Thanks for any input, Howard |
