Will sarasas breed succesfully with goldfish, I have two and one is
obviously female and has been chased endlessly round the pond by 4 goldfish,
this is the second time in three weeks, is this the norm? all advice
/comments appreciated.

Sarassas are goldfish and all GF will successfully breed with other
goldfish.

Yes, since it is their breeding season. If there are clumps of plants they
will lay their eggs in such a place.
