We've recently bought a very small aquarium. For the first 4 weeks we were recommended to purchase 2 small fish or dwarf frog and fish. We opted for a Platy and African dwarf frog - this was Saturday, 8th June. Subsequently, our Platy has delivered, upto now 10 babies, the numbers are growing each day. Can anyone tell us how many babies may arrive?

As platies have no moral objections to incest their proliferation is only limited by the amount of available food and space and the cleanliness of tank and water. jue |

Find a good LFS who will take your babies and either continue breeding them
or give all but one away ![]() I breed them for my LFS, i don't charge them or anything but always comes in useful for a discount on equipment etc. ![]() |
