Default T5 lighting question

I am thinking of replacing my old PC fixture with a T5 fixture. I have a 29
gallon which I am planning to have as a soft coral/mushroom/zoanthid type
tank. Currently I have 110W of PC and am looking at a 96W T5 fixture. Would
this be a good fit?

Thanks,
Mark

Default T5 lighting question

Mark,

When you say 96W, I assume you mean 4 pieces of 2' 24W HO-T5s. This would be
great for your softy tank without generating too much heat, or using too
much power if you're driving them from an e-ballast such as the Icecap. You
can maximise the output by using a good casing fitted with individual
parabolic reflectors for each of the 4 tuibes.
