I saw this cichlid at my LFS, labelled as ""Red Head Cichlid" ( Cichlosoma
Synspilum ), but the fish looks nothing like the photos of th red head I've seen. I was allowed to take photos of the fish and have posted them here www.pakurangadental.co.nz/Leong/ID.htm Is this a juvenile "red head cichlid" (C.Synspilum)? Thanks in advance Leong |

I'd go with sajica, they look exactly like my female. She has the yellow
colouration in her fins, whilst the male has more red. They are also now looking after their first lot of fry and doing well, thet are only young themselves so I've got good hopes for them!
