Filteration for Juwel Rio 125

I currently have a juwel 125 litre tank for my Malawis, using the
origanal filter, the tank is well stocked.

I have heard of overfilltering a well stocked tank to compensate.

I was thinking of adding a Fluval 104 external power pump, would there
be any advantage of this, if so what is the best set up ?

Any comments ?
