--trimming some uneccesary groups--
Probably too late now, but next time, try to have the parents breed in that new tank. I have two pairs of kribs--one in a 30 gal community, and one by themselves in a 10 gal. They both bred about 3 weeks ago. Only the the pair in the 10 gal have nearly all their fry still alive. The parents take amazing care of the babies, IF they aren't distracted by having to endlessly defend their territory. They'll lead their family all over the tank to look for food, giving the babies some kind of direction in their young lives. tim "gizmo" wrote in message .. . Hi, The second spawned of my kribs was much successful than the first. And this time I've decided to siphon 3/4 of the fry to their own tank. The tank is 30 gallons and has a sponge filter that was connected to a Power head, I think part of the fries were lost because of it so I've connected the sponge filter to an air pump. It seems that I continue on loosing them. They are fed twice a day with frozen and dried food. What am I doing wrong ? 10x gizmo |
