Default Never Put Angelfish In With A Male Gourami!

I put a cute little Angelfish in the same tank with my male dwarf
gourami. Big mistake! Mr.Gourami immediately bullied the poor little
Angel and kept chasing after him and nipping at his fins. My female
Gourami couldn't care less.

Mr.Gourami is usually peaceful, except when Ms.Gourami is hungry. He
hates to see her eat, and chases her, as if all the food belongs to him.
He dosn't go after the corycat, though. Sometimes he chases Ms.Gourami
just for the hell of it.

I think he's proclaimed himself King of his castle!

I give up LuAnn. No matter what you have been told your still
insistent on doing it your way or the way the clowns at the LFS
tellyou. I am no longer wasting my time on your atrocities of killing
and torturing fish. Angels can be kept easily with gourami however
they need to be in a larger tank overall and better filtration than
what you already have. You really need to stop wasting folks time and
posting such crap on the group and do a LOT more reading on the
aspects of fish keeping........better yet you need to quit the hobby
of fish keeping as you certianly do them no justice. I sauspect you
listened to the lfs clerk and thought it would be ok just because the
angel fish was small and cute.......but you fail to think about what
wastes a small fish puts off that you do not see. Your on your own now
LuAnn as I suspect you will be hard pressed to get much help here
anymore.

Sorry., but I have better things to do than waste my time on somone
one that just does not get it!
