Default Proud OTO keeper!

Dear List,

just to share something with you...

on 2002-10-10 I bought 7 otocinclus: O1, O2, O3, O4, O5, O6 and O7;
today, more than 5 yeas after, O4, the last one, died!
I wonder how many buckets of algae he's eater for me!!!

Cool.......Lots of folks say Oto's are not easy to keep fish, or that
they are not hardy, buy IMNSHO they are a very very easy and hardy
fish to keep, no harder to keep than another if they are given what
they eat and thats algae.......Give em algae and good water and they
are as hardy as any other fish out there.

I've got mine over 2 years now. This is the longest they've ever lasted for
me. :-)
