MegaAuction is coming Saturday (Oct. 4th), are you ready?

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 4th for our annual
MegaAuction - all auction, all night. Last year we had over 350 items
sold. Let's break that record this year! We will start checking in
items at 6:15pm and the auction will start at 6:45. There will be a
huge raffle, too. This is one of our most popular events every year.
Don't miss it.

Note: The Mega Auction will start much earlier than a normal meeting.
Sellers need to be there at 6:15pm for check-in. Buyers and sellers
who want to make sure to get a seat and get food orders in before the
auction starts might want to come even earlier.

The general public is invited to attend MegaAuction. Only club members
may sell items at the auction. You may join the club the night of the
auction and sell items, too. Members may run a tab during the auction.
Non-members must pay cash for each item at the time of purchase.

Please completely fill out an auction check-in form before you come to
the auction if you plan to sell anything. You can find the check in
form at our website www . svas . info by clicking on the Auction
Information tab on the left side.

Please have your fish safely bagged and marked. An article about how
to bring fish to the auction is posted on our website along with all
the other auction information. Dry goods should also be marked
clearly.

Don't be late. We will not guarantee that anything brought late will
get into the auction. Late items will be held until the end of the
regular auction and only sold if there is time.

As always we will need volunteer runners for the auction. We need a
lot of you so that some can rest while others are running and to keep
things speeding along by having more runners than usual going at all
times. This is a great way to see the auction items up close and give
back to your club at the same time. We will be feeding free pizza and
drinks to all our runners, too, during MegaAuction.

So, clean out your fish room and make some money. Spend some of that
cash (and then some) on the cool stuff I know will be for sale, too.
