I have 1 clown fish and want to buy an annenemi (sp). I know it stings
other corals but I got a spot for it. Good move/bad move? And what else goes along with a clown? 10g tank so no room for error. |

Not only a bad it s ****ING big time bad move. You may think you have a spot for it, but the annenome in all reality has better ideas and choices, and odds are your not going to like them nor will the other tank inhabs. Its not big deal with an anen and its sting, its realaly overated for the most part, but you do not need one to keep a clown fish happy, nor does one belong in a 10 gal tank either. |

So, if you're trying to keep other corals too, in such a small tank, you might lose them all. Also, anemones generally require very bright light (and perhaps some feeding), which you might not have in a 10g. Clowns are really easy to keep, and compatible with almost everything. Anemones are very sensitive and difficult to keep. (You should also know that clowns do just fine without an anemone.) As for what else, in a 10g...corals (frogspawn, button zoos), shrimp (cleaner, fire), gobys, etc. -- Don __________________________________________________ _____________________________ Don Geddis http://reef.geddis.org/ If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right. |
