ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT. I HAVE A 35 GAL TANK WITH ONE PAIR OF
CONVICTS.I ALSO HAVE 100 OR MORE BABY FRY.I NEED TO KNOW WHEN CAN i FEED THEM.I WAS TOLD TO USE A TOOTHPICK WITH MOIST TIP AND CRUSHED FLAKES TO A POWDER THEN PLACE THE TOOTHPICK A LITTLE OVER THERE HEADS.WELL MOM AND DAD DID NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL!!!. I KNOW THAT CONVICTS ARE GREAT PARENTS BUT IS THERE A TIME YOU SEPARATE THE YOUNG FROM THERE PARENTS. THEY ARE ALL SWIMMING IN A SCHOOL WITH MOM ON ONE SIDE AND DAD ON THE OTHER.DID I MENSION DAD HAS IT OUT FOR ME . |

I have a similar situation and all I feed the fry is flakes that I "crush" between my fingers as I drop them into the tank. Dad also doesn't care for me too much as he will slam into the side of the tank to get me! I normally leave a towel over the tank to help keep their stress levels down as I have two small children that think it's great fun to watch the parents attack fingers through the glass... p.s. It's somewhat easier to read a post when the Caps Lock is turned off. |

Crumble up some flake food and throw it in and they will be fine. I did start mine off with live BBS for the first couple of weeks however I'm sure they would have been fine without it. Rick |
