I always add a bit of Salt in my Goldfish aquariums.

Well it says something about Amazonian fish not likeing it.
I know an Oscar is Amazonian, but he dosen't list it in his "fish that don't like" salt. So I'm still at a loss... I wouldn't bother with thinking about it or go through the effort of trying it. However, ironically enough, Baron de Cuvier, the individual who first "catalogued" Oscars, thought they were salt-water fish; he discovered them (quoting him) "at ocean off Brazil". --Mark |
