Default oranda's tail

My oranda, which i have only had for about a month, seems to have a long
tail, not including it's fins. It is a young fish, about 2" in length at
present. Will it's tail look shorter as it grows? or is this a genetic
defect? or possibly it has been stunted?

no, the tail will grow with the fish, or even get proportionally longer. Ingrid

Long tails are pretty. Lots of orandas have them. Enjoy it.
