I'm setting up a new "low light" 10 gal. aquarium. I'm going to use a 15
watt flourescent with a standard hood with no glass between the water and bulb. Tank will have flourite substrate and full of "low light" plants such as Anubias, Bolbitus H., Rotalla Indica, and Java Fern Narrow, Lace, and regular. My question is should I add a few hardy fish to help cycle the tank a few days after the plants get in or wait a few weeks to add them. I know for a "higher light" tank I would probably wait, but I've read that with "low light" it doesn't really matter. What do you all say? Thanks again for your time.... Jimbo |
